Alex Webb
Alex Webb is the CEO of F12.net, a Canadian IT services business he founded in 1996. Alex pushed F12 to become, in turn, one of Canada’s first providers of managed hardware-as-a-service, private cloud, and Microsoft Cloud solutions. F12 ranks among North America’s Elite 150 MSPs.
F12’s purpose is to take the complexity and risk out of business technology solutions so that leaders can focus on what matters. Alex’s personal mission is to see that hardworking ethical business leaders thrive. Toward that end, he has encouraged and enabled numerous internal and external IT leaders to join him as partners and owners of F12. Alex seeks out relationships with like-minded businesses and has brought ten different IT services businesses into the F12 fold. He is always looking for the next great opportunity to expand F12’s capabilities and reach.
Alex is heavily involved in the IT community. As an active member of Ingram Micro’s TrustX Alliance community, he freely shares his painfully won business experience and his pointedly honest feedback in business forums, speaking engagements, and individual conversations. He is passionate about tackling the cyber-security challenge facing SMBs and feels a professional responsibility to mature the cyber-security practices of the organizations F12 supports.
Alex resides in Edmonton, Alberta along with his family. In his spare time, he enjoys flying aircraft, studying history, and travelling. Alex has experienced the challenges of Type 1 Diabetes with his eldest child and supports research toward a cure.
