He works as a clinical nurse educator at the Royal Alexandra hospital emergency department in Edmonton and holds specialty certification in emergency, critical care and cardiovascular are nursing. Matt is also a guideline author with the international liaison committee on resuscitation, editor in chief of he Canadian journal of emergency nursing and doctoral student developing quality indicators for cardiac arrest care.
