Dr. Pierre Noel

Dr. Pierre Noel is a Professor of Medicine in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and serves as the Director of the Mayo Center for Military Medicine. He first joined Mayo in 1988; left in 2000 to serve as Chief of the Hematology Division in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Senior Clinician at the National Institute of Health Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Noel is Consultant in Protective Medicine for the White House Medical Unit and Senior Non-Resident Fellow at the Atlantic Council Brent Scowcroft Center on International Security. Dr. Noel served in the military special operations community from 1997 through 2010. He rejoined Mayo in 2010.

Dr. Noel received his M.D. degree and completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Sherbrooke in Canada. He completed a fellowship in Hematology at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota and was a Mayo Foundation Scholar.
