Ultrasound Workshop*Must pre-register*

Evolving sonographic techniques in critical care medicine In this interactive workshop, you will be introduced to two novel ultrasound-based techniques to assess the critically ill patient. In part one, you will learn how to interrogate and apply the optic nerve sheath diameter as a surrogate marker of intracranial pressure. In part two, you will learn how to sonographically evaluate the airway and respiratory system for cricothyroid membrane identification, endotracheal intubation and tube misplacement. This workshop promises to be engaging with cutting-edge educational techniques including pre-workshop flipped classroom tutorials and brief didactic interactive sessions leading to mentored hands-on training. We hope you complete this workshop feeling satisfied you can proficiently understand and apply these techniques.
