Deborah Cook practices critical care medicine at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. At McMaster University, she is Distinguished Professor of Medicine, Clinical Epidemiology & Biostatistics, and Academic Chair of Critical Care.

Dr. Dhingra received an MD with honours from the University of saskatchewan in 1991, subsequently completed residency in internal medicine and fellowship in critical care medicine through the University of British Columbia.

Bhavesh Patel attended medical school and critical care fellowship training in Canada and is currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine, Neurology and Anesthesiology and Consultant in the Department of Critical Care at Mayo Clinic Arizona.

Full-time Critical Care Doc at the University of Alberta Hospital who suspects nobody cares what is written in bios. Somehow, he became a Professor of Critical Care Medicine, Anesthesiology, and Medical Ethics, and has his name associated with over 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts, 25 book chapters,

Dr. Cox is a medical graduate of the University of Cape Town in South Africa, where he commenced his training in paediatrics before changing his career path to Anaesthesia. His anaesthesia training was completed in the United Kingdom in 1985.

Dr. Donald Griesdale is an intensive care physician and anesthesiologist at Vancouver General Hospital and Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology, Pharmacology & Therapeutics at the University of British Columbia. Following his clinical training, he completed his Masters of Public Health in Quantitative Methods from the Harvard School of Public Health.

Dr. Arora was born in London, Ontario and obtained a Baccalaureate of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario. From there, he next achieved his Medical Doctorate from the University of Toronto in 1996 before moving to Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia to undergo his Cardiac Surgery Residency.

Zena has been the Canadian Critical Care Conference Coordinator since inception, playing a key role in building an international network of speakers and delegates.
